GV Group (Gate Ventures), the award-winning logistics and technology group company, has appointed John Clement as Group Managing Director.
Reporting to Tevin Tobun, GV Group’s CEO, Clement will be responsible for directing the company’s operations to make sure it achieves its objectives effectively and efficiently.
Clement brings over 30 years’ experience building start-ups and SME’s, taking them to market and turning around. Clement originally founded and oversaw the growth of one of the UK’s leading producers of horticultural products, that supplied the UK’s biggest supermarkets and supplied more than 80% of the UK’s asparagus market.
Clement said: “GV Group is a fantastic business which holds a unique place in the foodservice sector. I’m really looking forward to the challenges that this role will provide and am incredibly excited about helping the Group take the next steps on its growth journey.”
Tobun added: “As an agile business, it’s important for us to constantly review our operational procedures to ensure that we are offering an efficient service for our clients and customers. John’s experience will be invaluable in helping us achieve this and set us up for further growth.”
